A bill to provide for accountability by Indian tribes under certain Federal environmental laws, and for other purposes.
Tribal Environmental Accountability Act - Subjects Indian tribes to any requirements that are applicable to any other governmental entities for any actions that are subject to the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969. Permits a person or entity to commence a civil action against a tribe under any Federal environmental law provision that authorizes such a civil action. Waives tribal immunity in such an action.
