A bill to suspend temporarily the duty on certain chemicals used in the formulation of anti-cancer drugs.

Amends the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States to suspend, through December 31, 1999, the duty on (S)-N-((5-(2-(2-amino- 4,6,7,8-tetra- hydro-4-oxo-1H-pyrimido(5,4-b) (1,4)thiazin-6-yl)ethyl)- 2-thienyl)carbonyl)- L-glutamic acid (used in production of anti-cancer drugs).
