Amends the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States to suspend, through December 31, 1999, the duty on (R-(R*,R*))-1,2,3,4- butanetetrol-1,4- dimethanesulfonate (used in the production of anti-HIV and anti-AIDS drugs).
