A bill to extend certain contracts between the Bureau of Reclamantion and irrigation water contractors in Wyoming and Nebraska that receive water from Glendo Reservoir.
Irrigation Project Contract Extension Act of 1998 - Directs the Secretary of the Interior to extend through December 31, 2000, each of ten specified water service or repayment contracts for the Glendo Unit of the Missouri River Basin Project.
Requires such contracts to be extended for the same term that the Cooperative Agreement for Platte River Research and Other Efforts Relating to Endangered Species Habitats Along the Central Platte River, Nebraska, is extended, but not beyond December 31, 2001. Provides that the contracts shall be subject to renewal on the date that such Agreement terminates if it terminates before December 31, 2000.
