Recognizing, and calling on all Americans to recognize, the courage and sacrifice of the members of the Armed Forces held as prisoners of war during the Vietnam conflict and stating that the House of Representatives will not forget that more than 2,000 members of the United States Armed Forces remain unaccounted for from the Vietnam conflict and will continue to press for a final accounting for all such servicemembers whose fate is unknown.

Expresses gratitude for the courage and sacrifice of the brave men, including current Congressman Sam Johnson of Texas, who were held as prisoners of war during the Vietnam conflict.

Urges States and localities to honor such courage and sacrifice with appropriate ceremonies and activities.

Declares that the House of Representatives will continue to press for a final accounting of the more than 2,000 members of the U.S. armed forces who remain unaccounted for from such conflict.
