Digital Data Services Act of 1998 - Amends the Communications Act of 1934 to allow any low-power television station licensed by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), at its option, to utilize its authorized spectrum to provide any digital data services to subscribers or purchasers.
Requires notification to the FCC of the intention to provide such service.
