To protect and conserve deer and elk and to provide for consistent and equitable hunting laws in the State of Washington.
Deer and Elk Protection Act - Declares that laws and regulations of Washington State regulating the hunting, taking, possession, transportation, or sale of deer or elk: (1) are necessary for conservation; and (2) shall apply to Indians and Indian tribes outside of the boundaries of an Indian reservation in such State.
