Gallatin Range Consolidation Act of 1997 - Authorizes a land exchange (for inclusion of lands in the Gallatin National Forest) between the Secretaries of Agriculture and the Interior and the Big Sky Lumber Company.
Directs the Secretary of Agriculture to ensure that any management plan governing land conveyed to the United States maintains and maximizes historical recreational access to and use of such land.
