Authorizes the Assistant Attorney General, Office of Justice Programs, to make grants to units of local government, community-based organizations, and consortia of such organizations to carry out a demonstration project to establish clearinghouses to gather and disseminate information about the prevention of youth violence and crime.
Sets forth: (1) application requirements; and (2) criteria for application approval. Authorizes appropriations.
