Debt Collection Wage Information Act of 1997 - Directs the Secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS) to make information in the National Directory of New Hires available to the Secretary of the Treasury for use in collecting delinquent debt owed to the Federal Government.
Authorizes the Secretary of the Treasury to disclose the information provided by the HHS Secretary to a Federal agency for use by the agency in collecting delinquent debt owed to the agency.
