To require the head of each Federal agency to ensure that computer systems of the agency are capable of performing their functions after December 31, 1999.
Millennium Computer Act of 1997 - Directs the head of each Federal agency to: (1) renovate and test all agency computer systems to ensure that those computer systems will not fail solely because of an inability of those systems to correctly account for the years after 1999; and (2) complete renovation and testing of agency computer systems that are identified as critical and certify completion to the Congress by not later than July 1, 1999.
Requires the head of each Federal agency to submit certain reports to the Committee on Government Reform and Oversight of the House and the Committee on Governmental Affairs of the Senate.
