Lower East Side Tenement Museum National Historic Site Act of 1996 - Designates the Lower East Side Tenement Museum at 97 Orchard Street, New York, New York, as a national historic site.
Authorizes the Secretary of the Interior to enter into a cooperative agreement with the Museum designed to assure preservation and interpretation of the Site.
Authorizes appropriations.
