Affirming the support of the House of Representatives for the American Consumer Banking Bill of Rights.

Declares that the House of Representatives affirms its continued support for the rights and protections granted and assured to all Americans in the conduct of their financial affairs by various Acts of Congress, including the right to: (1) a safe and sound banking system; (2) meaningful, uniform credit-term disclosures; (3) equal access to credit; (4) banks that reinvest and provide essential services in their local neighborhoods; (5) expedited access to funds; (6) fair and accurate savings accounts terms; (7) accurate and secure credit history; (8) freedom from abusive and unfair debt collection practices; and (9) protection against unauthorized use of credit and debit cards.
