To provide grants for the integration of academic and vocational curriculum and professional development.
Industry-Based Education Support Act - Amends the Carl D. Perkins Vocational and Applied Technology Education Act to authorize the Secretary of Education to make grants to State and local educational agencies, educational service agencies, or consortia of these and other entities, for vocational education curriculum, instructional materials, and professional development, with emphasis on integration of academic and vocational instruction.
Allows State educational agencies to reserve up to ten percent of such funds to provide technical assistance to local educational agencies or educational service agencies.
Allows consolidated applications.
Authorizes appropriations.
