To encourage the development of the commercial space industry by establishing State-run spaceports, and for other purposes.
National Spaceport Act - Establishes in the Department of Transportation a National Spaceport Office to administer a grant program of State-run spaceports.
Amends the Internal Revenue Code to provide tax-exempt bond financing for spaceports.
Authorizes appropriations.
Terminates the Office on October 1, 2000.
