A bill to amend the Fair Labor Standards Act of 1938 to increase and index the Federal minimum wage relative to the average hourly earnings for private, non-agricultural workers, and for other purposes.
Fair Minimum Wage Guarantee Act of 1993 - Amends the Fair Labor Standards Act of 1938 to: (1) increase the Federal minimum wage, incrementally, in each of FY 1994 through 1997; and (2) index such wage to one-half the average hourly earnings for nonfarm, nonsupervisory private workers in FY 1998 and thereafter.
