A bill to further the goals of the Paperwork Reduction Act to have Federal agencies become more responsible and publicly accountable for reducing the burden of Federal paperwork on the public, and for other purposes.
Paperwork Reduction Act of 1994 - Revises the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1980, including to: (1) extend its purview to educational and nonprofit institutions, Federal contractors, and tribal governments; (2) replace the Federal Information Locator System with an agency-based electronic Government Information Locator Service to identify the major information systems, holdings, and dissemination products of each agency; and (3) reauthorize the Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs in the Office of Management and Budget through FY 1999.
