A bill to amend section 1562 of title 38, United States Code, to increase the rate of pension for persons on the Medal of Honor roll.

Increases from $200 to $500 the monthly special pension payable to persons named to the Medal of Honor Roll.

Includes losses sustained on the resale of property in the net-value calculation for purposes of provisions regarding defaults on veterans' loans. Provides for a permanent extension of the authority of such provisions.
