To provide grants to States for the establishment of community works progress programs.
Community Works Progress Act of 1993 - Directs the Secretary of Labor to award grants to States to establish community works progress programs.
Directs the Secretary of Labor to establish an interdepartmental task force to identify and report to the Congress any: (1) Federal funds that may be directed for use in community works progress programs under this Act; and (2) policy or procedural modifications that would help implement such programs. Directs the Secretaries to take necessary actions to carry out task force recommendations.
