To authorize noncompetitive, career or career-conditional appointments for temporary and term employees of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, including those assigned to the Resolution Trust Corporation, who are separated due to downsizing and office closures or due to the termination of the Resolution Trust Corporation.
Temporary Employee Placement Assistance Act - Provides that certain employees of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and/or the Resolution Trust Corporation who are facing unemployment due to downsizing or office closures may be appointed noncompetitively, under a career or career-conditional appointment, to a position in the competitive service.
