To equalize the minimum adjustments to prices for fluid milk under milk marketing orders and to require the Secretary of Agriculture to conduct a study regarding the solids content of beverage milk.
Dairy Equity Act - Amends the Agricultural Adjustment Act, reenacted with amendments by the Agricultural Marketing Agreement Act of 1937, to equalize the minimum fluid milk price adjustments for all marketing areas.
Directs the Secretary of Agriculture to study the desirability and feasibility of fortifying fluid milk with additional nonfat solids, including consumer acceptance of such action.
