To amend certain provisions of title 5, United States Code, relating to the age and service requirements for entitlement to an immediate annuity under the Civil Service Retirement System or the Federal Employees' Retirement System, and for other purposes.
Federal Retirement Reform Act - Revises age and service requirements for entitlement to an immediate annuity under the Civil Service and Federal Employees' Retirement Systems; eliminates such requirements specific to Members of Congress; and makes other changes in service requirements with regard to immediate annuity entitlement and mandatory separation with respect to fire fighters, law enforcement officers, and air traffic controllers.
