A BILL
To direct the Secretary of the Interior to revise a map relating to the
Coastal Barrier Resources System.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the
United States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1. TECHNICAL REVISIONS TO MAP.
(a) In General.--The Secretary of the Interior shall, before the
end of the 30-day period beginning on the date of the enactment of this
Act, make such technical revisions to the map described in subsection
(b) as are necessary to ensure that depictions on that map of areas as
``otherwise protected areas''--
(1) do not include any area that is not an otherwise
protected area within the meaning of that term under section 12
of the Coastal Barrier Improvement Act of 1990 (16 U.S.C. 3503
note); and
(2) do not include any of the area described as follows:
Beginning at a point located at the intersection of the
westerly right-of-way line of the present Sandpiper Road (60.00
feet wide) at the northern property line of the property now
owned by the City of Virginia Beach, acquired by deed from
Washington's Forest, Inc., dated December 26, 1965, and duly
recorded in the Circuit Court of the City of Virginia Beach,
Virginia, in Deed Book 932 page 32, and running; thence--
(A) south 82 degrees, 50 minutes, 00 seconds west,
a distance of 1615.19 feet to a point; thence,
(B) north 08 degrees, 00 minutes, 00 seconds west,
a distance of 531.84 feet to a point; thence,
(C) north 78 degrees, 33 minutes, 00 seconds east,
a distance of 2268.56 feet to a point; thence,
(D) south 11 degrees, 27 minutes, 00 seconds east,
a distance 302.06 feet to a point; thence,
(E) south 82 degrees, 50 minutes, 00 seconds west,
a distance of 110.15 feet to a point; thence,
(F) south 15 degrees, 06 minutes, 52 seconds east,
a distance of 403.88 feet to a point; thence, and
(G) south 82 degrees, 50 minutes, 00 seconds west,
a distance of 607.55 feet to the point or place of
beginning;
containing approximately 31.4 acres.
(b) Map Described.--The map referred to in subsection (a) is--
(1) included in a set of maps entitled ``Coastal Barrier
Resources System'', dated October 24, 1990; and
(2) entitled ``Back Bay Unit, VA-62P''.
