National Coastal Resources Development Act of 1993 - Amends Federal law to provide that the National Coastal Resources Research and Development Institute shall be administered by the Oregon State System of Higher Education instead of the Oregon State Marine Science Center.
Restates the duties of such Institute so that its duties are now to promote the economic growth and prosperity of the United States by transferring research and technology into applications to improve the economic, environmental, and social well-being of the Nation's coastal communities and the competitiveness of coastal businesses.
Revises membership on the Board of Governors of such Institute.
