A bill to authorize construction of a National Weather Service facility by the Administrator of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.

Authorizes the Administrator of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration to construct and operate, on land to be leased from the University of Nevada System, Desert Research Institute (or to acquire by lease construction on such land, with a lease term of up to 30 years), a Weather Forecast Office, upper air facility, regional climate center, and associated instruments and site improvements as part of the implementation of the Next Generation Weather Radar and National Weather Service Modernization Program.
