Reserves a certain portion of the Federal lands known as the Mount Sopris Tree Nursery, Colorado, to the Secretary of Agriculture as part of the White River National Forest.
Directs the Secretary to convey jointly the balance of such property to Pitkin and Eagle Counties, Colorado, with certain interests retained by the United States. States that it is the intent of the Congress that such lands shall be retained and used by the Counties for certain public purposes.
Directs Pitkin and Eagle Counties, Colorado, in consideration of such transfer, to convey by quitclaim deed to the Secretary of Agriculture certain lands owned within and adjacent to the boundaries of the White River National Forest, Colorado. Makes such lands a part of the White River, Gunnison, and Arapaho National Forests and specified wilderness areas, as appropriate.
