A bill to amend the Federal Home Loan Bank Act to provide for the disposition and protection of property identified as having natural, cultural, recreational, or scientific value of special significance.
Significant Property Disposition and Protection Act of 1991 - Amends the Federal Home Loan Bank Act to direct the Secretary of the Interior to identify Resolution Trust Corporation (RTC) held properties with significant natural, cultural, recreational, or scientific value.
Directs RTC, with regard to such properties, to: (1) select an information clearinghouse; (2) update its inventory records; (3) maintain them in a manner consistent with their significance; and (4) transfer them at the Secretary's request to a Federal or State agency for certain conservation purposes.
Restricts RTC transfer authority of undeveloped land.
