A bill to amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 to exclude certain pay of the merchant marine serving in combat zones.

Amends the Internal Revenue Code to exclude up to $2,000 per month from the gross income of individuals in the U.S. merchant marines during any month that such individuals: (1) serve in a combat zone; or (2) are hospitalized as a result of injury incurred during such service.
