A bill to federalize the crime of child molestation for repeat offenders.
Kahla Lansing Child Protection Act - Amends the Federal criminal code to provide that whoever commits an act of child abuse after a prior Federal or State criminal conviction for such an act has become final shall be sentenced to a term of 15 to 20 years' imprisonment.
Specifies that the first 15 years of such sentence shall not be suspended or revoked.
Directs the Bureau of Prisons to provide appropriate counseling and therapy to a defendant convicted under this Act.
