To amend the Federal Deposit Insurance Act and the Federal Credit Union Act to exclude deposits in escrow accounts which are available only for the payment of taxes on real property from the limitation on the amount of deposit insurance.
Real Property Taxpayer Protection Act of 1992 - Amends the Federal Deposit Insurance Act and the Federal Credit Union Act to exclude real estate tax escrow accounts from: (1) statutory limitations on the amount of deposit insurance available to the account holder; and (2) being taken into account in determining the amount of deposit insurance available to the account holder with respect to any other insured account.
