Amends the Omnibus Crime Control and Safe Streets Act of 1968 to direct the Bureau of Justice Assistance to pay the same benefit in any year to public safety officers for permanent and total disability as that payable in such year for death benefits.
Makes this Act applicable with respect to injuries occurring on or after November 29, 1990.
