To provide for the collection of data relating to police misconduct.
Police Misconduct Data Act of 1992 - Directs the Attorney General, through the victimization surveys conducted by the Bureau of Justice Statistics, to acquire data about the use of excessive force by law enforcement officers.
Specifies that data acquired pursuant to this Act shall be used only for research or statistical purposes and may not contain any information that may reveal the identity of the victim or any law enforcement officer.
Requires the Attorney General to publish an annual summary of the data acquired under this Act.
