To ensure that United States firms are accorded priority in the construction of the Superconducting Super Collider.
Superconducting Super Collider Buy American Act of 1992 - Prohibits awarding any contract or making payments for the site preparation, construction, or outfitting of the Superconducting Super Collider project to any foreign firm unless the foreign firm's host country has committed substantial participation to the project.
