To amend the Communications Act of 1934 to require cable operators to make certain disclosures at the time of installation of cable service.
Cable Television Consumer Information Act of 1992 - Amends the Communications Act of 1934 to require each cable television operator to provide to each customer at the time of initial installation a disclosure statement (as prescribed by the Federal Communications Commission) containing certain minimum information with respect to the cable service provided.
