To amend title 11, United States Code, to provide protections to pensions and other employee benefits in bankruptcy cases.

Amends Federal bankruptcy law with respect to employee benefits in bankruptcy cases to declare that an allowed claim by an employee (or former employee) of the debtor for a pension or other employee benefit under a plan to which the employee contributed shall be deemed a secured debt (thus granting such employee a higher priority to collect on the debt).
