Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. This Act may be cited as the `Hunger Prevention and Nutrition Assistance Act of 1991'. SEC. 2. AUTHORIZATION OF APPROPRIATIONS. The Emergency Food Assistance Act of 1983 (7 U.S.C. 612c note) is amended by adding at the end the following: `SEC. 215. DISTRIBUTION OF ADDITIONAL MILK AND MILK PRODUCTS. `In addition to any other amount authorized by this title to be appropriated, there is authorized to be appropriated $10,000,000 for each of the fiscal years 1992, 1993, 1994, 1995, and 1996 to the Secretary to purchase, process, and distribute milk to eligible recipient agencies that provide to needy persons nutrition assistance to relieve situations of emergency and distress.'.
