To authorize the National Park Service to prepare a plan for the preservation and interpretation of significant sites and resources associated with the development of America's space program.
Americans in Space Preservation Act of 1991 - Directs the Secretary of the Interior to prepare a plan of action to preserve and interpret certain sites and resources in Brevard County, Florida, associated with the development of America's space program.
Directs the Secretary to submit to specified congressional committees: (1) a comprehensive plan that meets the requirements of this Act (including alternatives and recommendations for the preservation and interpretation of such sites and resources); and (2) a handbook, suitable for public distribution, that interprets the significance of the sites associated with America's space program.
Authorizes appropriations.
