To provide a separate tariff classification for, and to suspend temporarily the duty on, certain opal borosilicate glassware imported in sets.

Amends the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States to provide a duty on kitchen and dinnerware sets made of opal borosilicate glass. Suspends the duty on glassware of opal borosilicate glass through December 31, 1994.

To provide a separate tariff classification for, and to suspend temporarily
the duty on, certain opal borosilicate glassware imported in sets.
  Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United
  States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1. PERMANENT TARIFF TREATMENT.
  Chapter 70 of the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States is
  amended by inserting after subheading 7013.39.10 the following, with the
  article description having the same indentation as the article description
  for subheading 7013.39.10:

 than 0.5% fluorine (F2) and no more than 8% alkalies (Na2O plus K2O) 7.2%

SEC. 2. TEMPORARY TARIFF TREATMENT.
  Subchapter II of chapter 99 of the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United
  States is amended by inserting in numerical sequence the following new item:

  The amendments made by sections 1 and 2 apply to all goods entered, or
  withdrawn from warehouse for consumption, on or after the 15th day after
  the date of the enactment of this Act.
