Allows the city of Pocatello, Idaho, to use a certain area on public lands originally transferred to it for the conservation and protection of its water supply for the construction and operation of a correctional facility for women, subject to specified conditions.
Allows the city to use the remainder of such lands for recreational and other public purposes, and to transfer the site of the correctional facility to another governmental entity.
Provides protection to the United States against liability arising from possible contamination of the lands with hazardous substances.
Modifies the annual reporting requirement on the use of the transferred land to require reports every five years.
