To provide, with respect to those areas of Connecticut which were excluded from the President's recent exercise of authority under section 302 of the Federal Employees Pay Comparability Act of 1990, the same pay increase as was provided with respect to the New York-Northern New Jersey-Long Island, NY-NJ-CT Consolidated Metropolitan Statistical Area; and for other purposes.

Extends an eight percent interim geographic pay adjustment and a 16 percent special pay adjustment (as provided under the Federal Employees Pay Comparability Act of 1990 to certain General Schedule employees and Federal law enforcement officers, respectively, in certain high cost-of-living areas) to General Schedule employees and Federal law enforcement officers, respectively, in specified metropolitan statistical areas of Connecticut.
