Amends provisions of the Age Discrimination in Employment Act of 1967 relating to Federal Government employment to allow a court to grant the prevailing party, other than the United States, a reasonable attorney's fee as part of costs. Makes the United States liable for costs the same as a private person.
Requires that, when an individual has filed a timely complaint with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, any civil action brought be commenced within a specified time.
