A joint resolution to apologize to the Hawaiian people for the overthrow of the kingdom of Hawaii in 1893 and to declare the trust relationship between the United States Government and Native people of Hawai'i.

Acknowledges and apologizes for the fundamental injustice of the Government in its participation in activities that contributed to the overthrow of the Kingdom of Hawaii.

Declares Congress's commitment to the maintenance of a fiduciary duty on the part of the United States to the Native Hawaiian people.
