United States Congressional Gift of Democracy to Poland Resolution - Requires the Speaker and Minority Leader of the House of Representatives and the Majority and Minority Leaders of the Senate to jointly establish an ad hoc delegation of legislative branch employees with expertise in legislative systems management, legislative research, and parliamentary procedure to travel to Poland to assist the Polish people in developing an effective parliament. Directs such delegation to: (1) assess the training and equipment needs of the Sejm and Senate of Poland; and (2) within 30 days of completing such assessment, report to the Congress on its findings.
Requires the leadership of the Congress, upon receipt of such report, to endeavor to identify and secure the means to provide an appropriate U.S. congressional gift of democracy to Poland in the form of training and equipment. Encourages the leadership to coordinate its efforts with appropriate private and public entities, including the parliaments of the nations of Western Europe.
Provides for payment of travel expenses for such delegation.
