A bill to provide for the sale of certain Federal lands to Clark County, Nevada, for national defense and other purposes.
Apex Project, Nevada Land Transfer and Authorization Act of 1989 - Directs the Secretary of the Interior to convey certain lands designated as the Kerr-McGee Site and to grant specified utility and transportation rights-of-way to Clark County, Nevada, for sale and subsequent grant to Kerr McGee Chemical Corporation.
Authorizes the Secretary to sell additional lands outside the boundaries of such Site and to grant rights-of-way necessary for development of an industrial park within the Apex Site to Clark County over a ten-year period.
Requires the funds received from such sales to be deposited in the Treasury for acquisition of environmentally sensitive lands in Nevada by the Secretary.
Reserves certain right-of-way corridors to the United States. Requires the Secretary to administer such corridors.
