Reserves a certain portion of Federal land known as the Mt. Sopris Tree Nursery Administrative Site, Colorado, to the Secretary of Agriculture as part of the White River National Forest.
Directs the Secretary to convey jointly the balance of such property to Pitkin and Eagle Counties, Colorado, with certain interests retained by the United States. States that it is the intent of the Congress that such lands shall be retained and used by the Counties for public recreation and recreational facilities, open space and riparian habitat protection, fairgrounds, and such other public purposes determined appropriate by the Counties. Requires the patent issued by the Secretary of the Interior for such lands to reserve in perpetuity public access in and along the Roaring Fork River, Colorado, for fishing and other recreational use.
Directs Pitkin and Eagle Counties, Colorado, to convey by quitclaim deed to the Secretary of Agriculture, certain lands owned within and adjacent to the boundaries of the White River National Forest, Colorado. Makes such lands a part of the Forest.
