A bill to deny the People's Republic of China nondiscriminatory (most-favored-nation) trade treatment.
Support for Democracy and Human Rights in China Act of 1990 - Prohibits most-favored-nation treatment for Chinese products.
Terminates such prohibition upon the President's certification to the Congress that China: (1) has ceased committing violations of internationally recognized human rights; (2) has ceased persecution of pro-democracy movement members; (3) permits unrestricted emigration; and (4) has ceased religious persecution in China and Tibet.
Referred to the Subcommittee on International Economic Policy and Trade.
