A bill entitled the "Grown in the United States Food Labeling Act of 1990".
Grown in the United States Food Labeling Act of 1990 - Directs the Secretary of Agriculture and the Commissioner of the Food and Drug Administration to issue regulations which will establish the Grown in the United States Food Labeling Program.
Prohibits any food product which contains a significant amount of imported ingredients from participating in the Program.
Directs the Secretary and the Commissioner to issue a report regarding the adequacy of Federal country of origin food labeling requirements and recommending improvements to the Congress.
