Amends the United States Housing Act of 1937 to direct the Secretary of Housing to reimburse local governments located within the exterior boundaries of Indian reservations for providing Indian housing services in an amount equal to the local property tax that would be payable if the housing were subject to such tax.

Read twice and referred to the Committee on Indian Affairs pursuant to the order of May 27, 1988, with instructions that if and when reported, the bill be referred to the Committee on Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs for a period not to exceed 60 days, provided that said committee may propose amendments only to those provisions affecting the HUD Indian housing programs.
