A bill to amend title 37, United States Code, to treat service of members of the uniformed services of the United States at a permanent duty station in Alaska and Hawaii as overseas service for the purpose of determining the eligibility of such members to receive certain educational travel and transportation benefits for their dependent children.

Treats as "overseas service" the service of military personnel at a permanent duty station in Alaska or Hawaii for the purpose of determining their eligibility to receive certain educational travel and transportation benefits for their dependent children.

Disallows such benefit for a child attending a school in the State of such permanent duty station.
