A bill to amend the Tariff Act of 1930 with respect to the applicability of duties upon certain aspects of the foreign repair of vessels.

Amends the Tariff Act of 1930 to declare that duties imposed under such Act shall not apply to: (1) the cost of equipment or expense of repairs made in a foreign country with respect to LASH (Lighter Aboard Ship) barges documented under U.S. law; or (2) the cost of foreign-made repair parts for installation on such vessels in the United States or in a foreign country where they cannot be obtained from U.S. manufacturers and are imported into the United States.
